My Story

Daniel is an ISSA certified personal trainer; currently working on the title of Master Trainer specializing in strength and conditioning, nutrition, performance enhancement and corrective exercise. He has also attained an assisted stretching certification through extensive training from the Stretchlab of Metairie.

He was born and raised in the small town of Morgan City, Louisiana. He attended Central Catholic high school as a 3 sport athlete; football, basketball and track and field, highly recruited in all three sports. In the summer of 1997, he was selected to the LHSCA football all star team as both wide receiver and free safety. He attended Northwestern State University majoring in Psychology and also participating as a member of the football team. In 2000, he transferred to the University of New Orleans to finish his degree in Psychology, hoping to gain understanding of the functionality of human behavior and has since been a resident of New Orleans, La.

With the help of his past coaches, peers and other influencers, he began his fitness journey at the age of 15, familiarizing himself with strength training and performance enhancement to better his own abilities in competition. Finding that fitness was his passion later on in his adulthood, he started his own research in efforts to gain more information on how to maintain his own health. With that acquired knowledge and from the opinions and experiences of others he’s trained gave him a convincing idea that becoming a certified personal trainer was something he’d be really good at.

Now with 5+ yrs of training experience, he has serviced many individuals looking to better themselves aesthetically, to increase their performance in competition, to maintain every day functionality or just to gain health and fitness education; included but not limited to individuals such as young athletes, middle-aged and elderly clients. He later joined the NOAC team in 2021 with the help of a current member’s assertiveness to help legitimize his status as an institutional trainer. Through his own personal experiences, acquired accolades and with the knowledge he’s gained over the years, his desire to help others achieve their goals is matched by no other.
